What it is
This comprehensive evaluation is designed for women who want more than a rushed appointment or symptom checklist. We review your current concerns, medical and psychiatric history, medications, sleep, daily functioning, hormonal timeline, lifestyle and available laboratory information.
When clinically appropriate, additional testing may be recommended to help identify medical conditions or physiological factors that could contribute to or overlap with psychiatric symptoms. The goal is to support a careful diagnosis and create an individualized treatment plan that considers the whole person.
Who it's for
This service may be appropriate for women experiencing anxiety, low mood, difficulty concentrating, sleep disruption, fatigue, postpartum changes, perimenopausal symptoms or concerns that have not been fully explained.
It may also be appropriate if you want your physical health, psychiatric symptoms and treatment history considered together before beginning or changing psychiatric medication.
You may recognize yourself here if:
- You continue to feel exhausted, anxious, unfocused or unlike yourself.
- You have been told that your laboratory results are normal, but your symptoms continue.
- Your mood, sleep or concentration changed during postpartum or perimenopause.
- Previous treatment has provided only partial relief.
- You want an unhurried evaluation before making another medication decision.
